NOW IS A TIME FOR EMPLOYEES & EMPLOYERS TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER

Since employees and employers have both been under a lot of stress the past 2-3 years due to our devastating economy, we should be looking for ways to help each other strengthen our health. Many are dealing with high blood pressure, depression, weight issues, migraines, etc. In fact, stress has been known to be the culprit for many illnesses.

What can employees and employers do to help each other in this matter? Here are a few ideas:

1) Be more pleasant and supportive to each other. Make positive comments and offer encouragement.

2) Be less critical and argumentative. Employees should try to be on time, and employers should try to be less critical and more understanding.

3) Both should look for ways to make their businesses more successful so that both can reap the rewards.

4) Consider taking steps to educate about and encourage healthy eating habits, as well as possibly arranging exercise classes at the workplace.

What ideas do you have to help your fellow employees and employers reduce their stress? All will benefit from any efforts with this purpose.
