HOW A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN EMPLOYERS & HR EXECS CAN IMPACT A COMPANY

Being a business owner can be a lonely job, as the "buck stops with him/her".  Companies face hard decisions on a regular basis.  A big portion of the time these concerns involve employees.  Even if it also involves a financial aspect, deciding how to handle the "people" side can stir the emotions and require difficult steps involving an employee.  This is one of the big reasons that Employers and their HR should build a serious and strategic working relationship.  It is important for both to have the same or similar work ethics, integrity, and priorities regarding the business.

The Human Resource Executive should make a conscious effort to have a strong understanding of the employees, their priorities, key issues, strengths/weaknesses, and overall personality.  HR should have a well-trained management/supervisory team, who keeps a close pulse on the workforce, informing the Senior HR on a regular basis.

In order for the Employer and Senior HR Exec to strategically plan and manage the company for a strong and robust future, their relationship needs to be one of mutual respect, high integrity, and consciously working to strengthen their workforces.  With selected training and programs to enhance skills and talents, the workforce can develop more efficient and productive efforts.

The employer should have a small circle of strong, supportive management executives, but the relationship between employer and senior HR needs to be close, keeping each other regularly informed and demonstrating mutual respect for each other.  It is also to be noted that both Employer and Senior HR are ones who required to keep much confidential.  This makes their relationship even tighter.

Employers, with what has been noted here, it is critical when selecting your Senior HR Exec.  This person must be totally trustworthy, sensitive to others, resourceful, and a good problem solver.  With this partnership, the Employer will find much reassurance in regards to the support of making  his/her future decisions and taking the organization into a successful future.
