AFTER REVIEWING 2014, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY IN 2015?

Many companies have done better this year, making more of a profit.  Unfortunately, many employees have not seen any "trickling down" of those funds.  Therefore, more employees (who are working) are looking for better opportunities.  A group of economists explained that companies are nervous about releasing funds, still not feeling confident about the future.

With that being said, employers need to also try to put themselves in the shoes of their employees -- as their income remains stale and discouraging.  What about the old saying that "you have to spend money to make money?"  Wouldn't it be wise to reward the workforce for their hard work and loyalty, which might motivate them to work even harder?  If not providing an increase in their salaries, how about providing them training and/or coaching to help them grow and possibly be more efficient and productive?

If employers were to ask their workforces what they would like to see different in their companies in 2015, what do you think they would say?  In order for a company or organization to grow and move forward, what would be needed?
  • Is your company using the most current, strategic processes and/or technology?
  • Has your leading execs received aggressive and progressive coaching?
  • Do you have the best leaders in place?
  • Is the company keeping its leaders accountable for their tasks and goals?
  • What has your company done to empower your leaders?
  • Does your company provide creative benefits to strengthen employee loyalty?
